Using saved templates to create files

When you create a new drawing based on a template, CorelDRAW formats the page according to the page layout settings in the template and then loads the template’s styles into the new file.


To create a new file based on a saved template

Click File CorelDRAW onestep Using saved templates to create files Open.
If you are using Windows XP, choose CDT – CorelDRAW template from the Files of type list box.

Locate the folder where the template is stored.

Double-click a template filename.

Enable the New from template check box in the Open dialog box.
If you want to load page settings and objects in addition to loading the template’s styles, enable the With contents check box.
