Inserting and deleting table rows and columns
You can insert and delete the rows and columns in a table.
To insert a table row

Select a row in the table.

Insert a row above the selected row

Click Table Insert Row above.

Insert a row below the selected row

Click Table Insert Row below.

Insert multiple rows above the selected row

Click Table Insert Insert rows, type a value in the Number of rows box, and then enable the Above the selection option.

Insert multiple rows below the selected row
|
Click Table Insert Insert rows, type a value in the Number of rows box, and then enable the Below the selection option.

When you use either the Row above command or the Row below command from the Table Insert menu, the number of rows that are inserted depends on how many rows you have selected. For example, if you have selected two rows, then two rows are inserted in the table.
